Grassfed Exchange 2023

September 11-13, 2023, I had the honor to attend the Grassfed Exchange conference in Hershey, PA. The first day all of us attending had the option to choose from a variety of local farms to tour. I chose to tour Rodale Insitute and was impressed with the decades of research they have been doing to further our knowledge of organic vs. conventional style farming methods.

The second and third days were full of speakers from all over the country that shared their experience and knowledge with us fellow farmers. The guests attending came from all walks of life and all varying degrees of farming experience. It was an overall humbling experience and I walked away with an equal amount of knowledge and fear. Fear because I knew I had a lot of work ahead of me that could have varying degrees of success and/or failure.

I had an amazing time away, fellowshipping with peers in the agricultural industry, dining on delicious food, and walking away revived, refreshed, and ready to take big steps on our farm towards improving my adaptive grazing practices.
