Our heritage breeds of pigs are raised and rotated in the woods, fed chemical-free, non-gmo grains. We specifically chose to use mulefoot and mulefoot cross because they are a medium-sized rare breed of pig known for their docile and friendly temperament, they are excellent foragers, hardy, and resistant to disease. they produce a prized, flavorful, dark and marbled meat with delicious creamy fat.
