Each of these beautiful and unique skins comes from lambs raised here on Grid Iron Hill Farm. The spots come from the Jacob sheep we raise. These lambs grow up rotating around the pastures, which provides us with the most delicious meats.
I want to be sure to waste as little of these amazing creatures as possible so that is why it is very important for me to try and save the skins. Each skin measures slightly different, some have long wool, some shorter wool, and some have tails left on. You could always cut that off if you don’t like them.
They make LOVELY wedding or baby gifts. We use them as chair cushions, bedside rugs, and baby changing mats.
